Live Blawging the San Francisco Blawging Conference . . . .

. . . at Santa Clara University School of LawEric Goldman organized the event.  So far: great appetizers.  Santa Clara always hosts in a classy, familial way.  (Santa Clara legal trivia: who authored the famous line for the OJ defense -- "if it doesn't fit, you must acquit"?  Answer.  By the way, he's a noted legal ethicist.)

First topic: why do you blog?   Share knowledge.  Spout opinions.  Educate.  Professional marketing.  Through politcal blogging.  Build social connections.

Second topic: what do you hesitate to blog about?  Items that can be used against you.

Third topic: how do you choose your "voice"?  Sometimes you come off differently over the net than in real life. You're not legally responsible for the comments, but sometimes you just hit the delete anyway.

Fourth: blogging etiquette.  Norms arose spontaneously.
