According to news reports, California's attorney general filed indictments today against former HP Chair Patricia Dunn (who in an unrelated, but tragic, news story is seeking chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer) as well as HP's chief ethics officer (a lawyer) and three private investigators. So far, there has been no attempt to seek criminal charges against any of the outside lawyers in the matter.
Is "pretexting" legal in any state? Specifically, Virginia for the purpose of finding out who is a "judgment debtor's" employer .
